What Makes This Moldovan Sweet Red Wine Special

Crafted from a blend of Saperavi and Cabernet Sauvignon in the Codru region of Moldova, this wine delivers a complex wine with dried red fruits such as plums, cherries, blackberry, and chocolate hints. The wine is made by putting the grapes for 13 – 15 days in fermenters at 26c. Fermentation is stopped early to retain some of the natural residual sugar. The 2 wines are then blended and oak aged for a further 6 months to develop the flavour and complexity.
