Aroma: Blackberries, black cherries, and leather

Tasting notes: Black fruits, cherry, plum, chocolate, bay leaf and vanilla. Medium body and tannins that give the wine a roundness and a pleasant long finish. Notes of aging, tobacco and leather make this wine a much more complex merlot then the classic young, fresh merlot.

Vinification: Oak aged for 6 months then bottle aged until release.

Food pairing: Corten Merlot pairs well with beef and venison steak, smoked cured meats and cheese.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
