What Makes This Moldovan Dry Red Wine Special

Crafted from 100% Merlot grown in the Valul lui Traian region of Moldova. This wine delivers notes of blackberries, black cherries and tertiary flavours of leather and tobacco. The grapes are hand picked and sorted. Aged for 12 months in new French oak barrique, before being moved to old oak barrels for further slow aging. The wine is finally bottle aged until release.

Tasting notes: Aged, Smooth and Complex

The wine is dry with flavours of black fruits, cherry, plum, chocolate, bay leaf and vanilla. The wine is medium bodied with tannins that give the wine a roundness and a pleasant long finish. Notes of aging, tobacco and leather make this wine a much more complex merlot then the classic young, fresh merlot.
