Aroma: Ripe cherry, blueberry, plums and spicy pepper notes.

Tasting notes: Light – medium bodied with flavours of  ripe red cherry, blackberry, blueberry, plum, black pepper and cloves. This wine has high acidity and medium tannins, leaving a long spicy finish.

Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested and sorted prior to fermentation. Then aged in French oak barrique for 6 months.

Food pairing: Purcari Maluri de Prut pairs well with grilled red meat, smoked and cured meats, charcuterie, hard cheeses and Asian foods.

Serving temperature: 18-20°C
