Aroma: Harmonious and nuanced bouquet that elegantly combines notes of pomegranate, chocolate and plum.

Tasting notes: Full bodied wine with a medium – high acidity, expressing red fruit flavours, ripe cherries, strawberry, pomegranate, as well as black fruits such as blackberry, black currant, and plum. The texture is velvety with hints of dried fruits and vanilla, and a delicate oak accent in the finish.

Vinification: Aged in French oak barrique for 6 months.

Food pairing: Chateau Purcari Rara Neagra & Saperavi pairs perfectly with grilled meat and vegetables, skewers or pork steak. It also works well with cheese boards and charcuterie.
