Aroma: Instantly shows ripe sweet cherry, once allowed to breathe it develops into baked cherry, blackberry and plums.

Tasting notes: Well balanced red and black fruits, cherries, blackberries, plums, and spices from the oak aging of clove and nutmeg. The finish has soft, supple, velvety tannins and medium acidity.

Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested and sorted prior to fermentation. Then aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

Food pairing: Purcari Saperavi de Purcari Limited Edition pairs exceptionally well with venison and beef steak, lamb chops, salami and stuffed peppers.

Serving temperature: 18-20°C – Decant for 60 minutes prior to serving to achieve optimum flavour and aroma profile.
