Aroma: Plums, cherries and herbaceous notes.

Tasting notes: An intense aroma of plum, cherry and spice, with hints of rosemary and vanilla. A full bodied wine, soft and balanced, full of ripe fruit flavours through to a savoury finish.

Vinification: The grapes underwent temperature controlled maceration for approximately 10 days to extract the desired level of colour, flavour and fine tannins. Alcoholic fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine was made in an unoaked style to preserve the vibrancy of fruit and varietal characteristics.
Food pairing: San Marzano Il Pumo Primitivo pairs beautifully with savoury first courses, red meat, game and mature cheese
